New School Year Around the Corner

Josiah and Aubrie are nearly all set to begin a full year of Belgian school. They will be continueing at the same school they went to for 4 months last school year. Aubriana will be in what Belgian's call "3rd maternelle" (kindergarten), and Josiah will be in the 1st grade. Josiah will be learning to read and write in French- believe you me that is no easy task!! If you guys think of us this week, be praying for us as we prepare the children for re-entering school.

1) Pray that they would make great choices in their friendships.
2) That they would be lights for the Lord in their schools
3) That just the fact that they attend a public school would provide us with many more opportunities to make friends and share the gospel with Belgians.
4) Pray for their teachers.

Brian is speaking more and more French and understanding more and more. He is in a very intensive course, right now. The best part is he's doing great. Please pray that he would continue to develope his ears for hearing French and understanding the speakers, as well as, being able to have a conversation in French.

Heather is still studying French on her own nearly everyday. Pray that as she studies she would be able to deepen her understanding of the grammar, and as she is out in our village (on foot, tram, bus or metro) that she would find and enter into French conversations with all those she runs into. Heather is eager to reconnect with all the mommies she met and began relationships with last school year.

Prayer for Brian and Heather:
1) Pray that as we walk along the way that the Lord would lead us to all of those where He is at work or soon will be. This is our hearts desire for our time in Brussels.
2) That our family life would be a cause for others to want to seek Him.
