Strep Throat, High Fever, and Nausea- ok-

So it hasn't been our best week ever healthwise, but hey who said this would be easy!! Heather's symptoms of strep showed up after school on Monday with high fever and chills all over. She missed school on Tuesday and Thursday (when Brian finally got her to the doctor). Out of a 10 day course she had to missed 2 already, that's 20%. Pray that we will all be healthy for this week of school, which could very possibly be Heather's last in full-time language study! She is both excited and sad about this. Being finished means we are able to focus on full-time ministry, but with learning French going so easily for her she wants to continue until she's fluent. If not this term, maybe next! Being finished with full-time language school doesn't mean she can't take other classes, just not full-time. The kids and Heather will be able to spend the rest of the summer getting Brian up to snuff in French, and finding ministry opportunities, and picking up on relationships that have already begun with the intent of sharing Christ.

The kids have been enjoying their stages. Last week they attended a swimming stage which was great for both of them. This week they are both attending a tennis stage. Can anyone say mixed doubles!!!!???!!! If you know of the Bryan brothers they are a super good pair of tennis champions in doubles, and they are also brothers. Who knows maybe we could have the Zebarth sisters or the Zee siblings!?! But for right now it's super cute to watch them "Play." The raquets seem so big, and the kids so small. Makinna wants to play too, so we get out there as a family du temps en temps (from time to time-in french), and have fun!

So the BIG request this week is for both Heather and Brian to pass their finals on Friday. Heather's class this fortnight is basically new french grammar non-stop. Now she knows seven verb tenses in French and can speak them, when needed. Some are definitely easier than others, but it's fun to learn them for her. She is one of those weirdos that likes English grammar, which helps her a lot! There is just so much to memorize everyday, and so little energy to study all that is needed to keep up with a three week course squished into two weeks. Pray for energy and strength of body, mind and spirit.

Josiah's 6th b-day is the 19th and Heather's is the 22nd. We are having a little birthday party for Josiah, on the 19th. Pray for a good time for all that attend!

Happy birthday to sweet Makinna too! I'm sorry I'm a little late.

Congratulations on passing the exam! I see that Brian didn't bother to tell us what he got on the exam--I wonder what that means? :-)

Sorry to hear about your health. You know Cindy and I think about you often.

Happy B-day to you guys! We certainly miss you all.

Brian--I really miss our racquetball games. I'm playing with Keith H. now and...well...let me just say this: he makes me look good, if that tells you anything. Oh well, it's just fun to play again.

We love you guys!
