We had the priviledge of attending church this morning at an English speaking International church. It was nice to worship in our heart language on such a special day. At home, we have enjoyed a special celebration complete with the Easter story by using the resurrection eggs Grandma sent to the kids. A BIG Thank you to all our grandparents for all our great Easter packages-they were all wonderful and really added to our holy day!! The rest of our celebration included listening to Keith Green's "Easter Song," lots of other Easter hymns, and making Resurrection cookies (you read several portions of scripture while making them, the passages tell the story of Jesus death and resurrection) the kids open up the sealed oven in the morning and discover the cookies are empty just like Jesus' tomb! Super cool! Praise God, Jesus is ALIVE!!
A beautiful day to open up our sliding window and enjoy the great outdoors, at least for a little while!
