Well, we are packing up our lives from the past 8 weeks, and heading back to the beautiful Rocky Mountains. We will miss our lives at FPO. It was amazing. We each grew so much. There are so many wonderful people we met, many are friends that will last a life time.
When we first set out for Richmond, we thought how great it was going to be to head home for Christmas and New Year. Now, we both wish we could just head overseas, and start working immediately as missionaries. However, it will be great to see friends and family, and to be able to share some of our excitement about missions with local church bodies in Denver.
We have one MAJOR prayer request. We just found out that the Belgian consulate in Los Angeles doesn't expect our visas to be finalized until the end of January. Please pray that this isn't the case. We are anxious to get overseas, and begin our language study and building relationships with French speaking Belgians.

Musical Chairs was a HIT literally. As Jared fights for a chair!
Josiah and his good buddy Dayne Hepner at Aubrie's party
The Hepners (Josh, Kristen, Dayne, Abigail, and Darcie) have been such special friends to our family. They have three little ones, just a few months older than each of our kids, Boy, girl, girl. Brian and I sit with Josh and Kristen in class. We have really enjoyed getting to know them.
Aubriana's 4th Birthday at FPO
She had such a great time with about 40 or 50 friends. We played with bean bags, did musical chairs both games with children's rounds and adults' rounds. We ate lots of yummy cake and ice cream. It's great to have such sweet fellowship with fellow 'M's, that are willing to come and spend their Friday night with a four year old on her birthday.
