Family trip to IKEA

Ok so we aren't your ordinary family, but neither are we in an ordinary place! In IKEA yesterday we found tiny stuffed rats for children, and the price caught our attention. Only 1 euro! We had resisted the mild urge last time we saw them, but the thought of our mother's faces when they heard that we had given our children toy rats was just too BIG to resist this time! Thus each child received a rat. Later we had a great time with baby Elijah and those tiny rats! He didn't seem to mind! What a trooper!

Also in IKEA yesterday, we were looking for the comforters and she asked the workers where the jelly/jam is for the bed. The word for comforter and jelly is very close in fact it is just one letter different! The funny part is they knew what she was talking about, and sent us to the right place! Hummm...I wonder if that happens often?

As we walked away Heather said, "Oh no, I just asked them where is the jelly/jam for the bed!" Ok so Heather just had a baby and she is on sleep deprivation soooo her French isn't quite up to par, but new baby aside, it wasn't the first and won't be the last faux pas we make in Belgium with this great new language!!! It was just too fun not to share! Sometimes you just have to laugh at yourself!

Something Fun for you

Check out our new videos posted today on www.youtube.com

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t9j0Zw1S3KM This one is from Good Friday '09

Look up famillebelge and they should be there for the viewing! They are kinda funny and kinda cute and kinda silly!
We are going to try to put more up soon! Enjoy

The Lord is blessing and we are busy meeting with all our friends here in Belgium.
Please pray for our friend Andrea as she will be traveling to the states for the first time this week.

We have been asking the Lord to provide for our needs with this new baby and so far He keeps surpassing our requests!
We hope you all have an AMAZING Resurrection Day! We read the story in French tonight to the kids for our devotion time and with a few exceptions the children understood and were able to follow along. The kids love sharing the Good Friday/Easter story. Pray they'll have times to share it here! They have one more week of Spring Break. We have a 3 day conference. Pray they will do well for their babysitters and enjoy their last big break until June 30th.

Baby Elijah is doing good. We are 36 weeks completed! Whew! One more week and we'll be full-term! Pray for a safe easy delivery, and for Brian as he handles the house, three children, having a wife and child in the hospital, and finds a way and time to come visit us often. The kids are very excited about their new sibling. They each have a new special love for every baby we see, especially the tiny ones. Josiah is now saving all this clothes for Elijah to use and his toys and books. It's pretty cute!
