Pizza in the Park

What do you get when you invite 3 families to a pizza party in the park? Answer- a simple get together and a way to share life with others! These are the same families that we had over at the end of last month, and it was such a great success we wanted to get another one in before they head out for vacation! So on a Wednesday late afternoon, with a bright Gorgeous Belgian day, we headed to the park. We grabbed pizzas which each family helped pay for and everyone brought blankets and sodas. We had a great time! It was terrific! Brian had some great conversations with the men again and Heather as well with the ladies. We have all their vacation schedules written down so we know who we can get together with and when they will be back home throughout the summer.

A family from Josiah's class has invited us over for a little end of school get together in their home tomorrow. Pray all goes well, and we'll be sensitive and alert for opportunities to listen, learn, and share! We have asked you to pray for them before. The wife is fully French speaking Belge and the husband is Greek, and speaks perfect French. They have 3 children the youngest is in Josiah's class. We've known them since nearly day one and had many many conversations and have formed a good friendship in our home and other places. This is our first invite to their home with an actual date and time! YEAH!! Ok so we are a excited about it!

As of today, the big kids are finished with this school year! HORRAY! Josiah and Aubriana will both be continuing on to the next grade level. Aubriana had a mini-graduation yesterday and Josiah had one today. It was interesting in Josiah's graduation ceremony, they would call each child up and speak briefly to them, loud enough for all too hear. Some children were told great job, yet, others were told you'll be held back and retaking 1st grade. We are definitely not in Kansas anymore. I don't believe that would happen in the states.

Makinna has a final performance on Monday at the local government auditorium. Her class is performing at the 6th grade graduation ceremony! Should be cute!

Now it's onto our summer schedule for family ministry. Keep us in your prayers as our time here is winding down. We are dedicated to striving to live and share the gospel each moment we have remaining. Pray that we can have the energy to do just that. Also please pray that Elijah will sleep a full night as regularly as possible, obviously we both have more energy after a good night of sleep.

Fill us in on you! Details are wonderful!
