Hard to Believe It's Been Two Months ALREADY

We've successfully completed the beginner level of French, and Monday we begin our next class. We learned sooooo much. We had a BIG final exam today. It was oral, listening/reading comprehension, and written in three parts. It was pretty stressful for both of us. After it was finished we got a hearty handshake from our teacher, and he said we did VERY Good! It seems we've been pounding in question words, prepositions, sentence structure, and verbs upon verbs, and it's actually suprising so much of it stuck in our brains. Thank you for your prayers in this reguard. If you could continue to lift this up, we know it only gets more difficult from here. We'll be getting into much tougher grammer, and not many people LOVE English grammer let alone grammer in a new language.

Over and over we have had really neat opportunities to meet some special Belgians the Lord has put in our paths. We had another playdate with the mommy from school Damian*. She and Heather chatted about foods they cook for their families, what they do for fun, and what their neighborhood is like. It was a successful meeting for sure.

There is another mommy from school that is Malaysian. She has been very friendly. She speaks very good English. In speaking about that, she let me know that she learned English in her Methodist preschool in Malaysia. So I asked her is she was a Christian, "No!" came her sharp reply. I think she realized how abrupt her answer was, and she softened it with, but I am ok with it. So keep her in your prayers. Let's call her Kafina*.

Zuran* our student teacher gave us her information. She wants to get together, and meet our children. We are going to jump on that, and we'll get back to you on that opportunity. Remember she is muslim from Pakastan. Super cool. We have already seen pictures of her dad, Mohammed, sister, and cousin. It neat how much deeper you get in language school, in someways out of necessity to aid in the learning process.

Tomorrow the BIG kids have a BIG deal at school. It's called the Fancy Fair. They'll be performing with their classes on the BIG stage in the Gym. It should be really fun, and a GREAT opportunity to meet other parents and build relationships all in the path of sharing Christ with them. We'll be sure to post some pictures of it.

Download SKYPE and we can chat over the computer and see each other. It's WONDERFUL. We ended up dropping Vonage. We have a great overseas plan with the phone company here that is even cheaper than Vonage. Get SKYPE downloaded, get your web cams hooked up and let's talk. It's really fun and wonderful for the kids. Have a WONDERFUL weekend. Bon Weekend.
